HBO has announced it’s about to pull back the curtains on one of America’s sporting treasures, Serena Williams, in a series of mini-documentaries called ‘Being Serena.’ The mini-series debuts on HBO May 2nd, and will take viewers to the birth of Alexis her daughter, and provide insights and details of what it’s like to be a world-class athlete and businesswoman. Serena has won seven Australian Opens, three French Opens, 7 Wimbledon’s, and 6 US Opens. On a personal note, the 36-year-old superstar is married to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and the mother of one child.
Again, ‘Being Serena’ debuts on HBO Wednesday, May 2nd, 10 pm EST, with additional episodes every Wednesday at 10 pm.
