We’re always excited to hear about Beatle treasures popping up in auctions, rummage sales and more. Recently, a boatload of early Beatles pictures was auctioned off in England for nearly $360,000.
Over 400 negatives of early Beatles U.S. concerts had been unearthed last year, auctioned off this year by young photographer Mike Mitchell, who at the time was just a kid, an 18 year old who took candid and concert photos of the Fab Four at the February 11, 1964 concert in Washington, D.C. and later in Baltimore.
Also auctioned off was a hotel book, a registry that had been signed by all four arriving guests, the Beatles, along with their road manager Brian Epstein.
