More games were played on Thursday that had a huge impact on who would be in the NCAA Tournament and three teams, again, hurt their resumes with a loss. Let’s take a look…
Louisville has a chance to make the tournament even with a loss to Virginia, but the chances are slim. You can’t fault them for losing to the best team in the country. They have 20 wins and played in the very strong ACC.
Oklahoma State essentially kicked Oklahoma out of the bubble two nights ago and going into their game against Kansas they were hoping to bolster their resume even more. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and they can’t basically count themselves out with just a very slim chance of making it to the tournament.
Baylor has had some impressive wins this season, that’s why they were a bubble team with just 18 wins heading into Thursday. Well, that’s no more as they lost to West Virginia by double digits. A win against the Mountaineers added with another win would have given them a very strong resume.
