Thursday Night Football has been widely talked about by players, fans, coaches and just about anyone else that watches or cares about football. Many don’t like it because of the quick turn around from one game to another and any health concerns that come from it. There are also those that love watching Thursday Night Football because it’s entertaining and gives us an extra day of football.
Well, no matter what may be said it’s clear Thursday Night Football is big bucks. FOX Sports has purchased the rights to these football games from weeks 4-15, not including the big Thanksgiving Day games of course. The amount of money to purchase those games is high, as it is being reported that it cost FOX Sports $3 billion to buy it! There are some other specifics about this deal that we haven’t talked about, but these are the meat and potatoes of this amazing deal!
