Talking One of the New Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Bands – The Moody Blues

The 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees list was announced a few weeks ago, and it reminded if of one of our favorite bands, The Moody Blues.

Sadly, original member Ray Thomas passed away but the original lineup also included Denny Laine who left the group after a few albums. You can hear Denny’s voice on the single “Go Now” in 1964. Denny became part of Paul McCartney’s Wings but will re-join the band on stage for the Hall of Fame inductions as a member of the Moody Blues.

The Moody Blues released 16 studio albums, including the iconic ‘Days of Future Passed’ which celebrates its 51st birthday this year. In addition to being welcomed into the Rock and Roll Hall this year, they’re also in the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
