The best time of the year very well may be March, when college basketball puts on their end of the year tournament. We haven’t covered much of college basketball so far this year so it’s time to take a look deeper into the sports. Today we want to know who has a chance to win it all come March…
Right now it’s hard not to love the three teams that have received first-place votes on the AP Top 25 poll. Those three are Villanova, the clear number one, Virginia, and Purdue. They can all shoot the three and put up points in bunches when needed.
If you’re looking for a superstar player that could carry his team to the promise land then look no further than Oklahoma, whose Trae Young is averaging nearly 30 points per game. If you’re looking for the stellar freshman who could pull a Carmelo Anthony then look at Duke and Marvin Bagley III.
A few sleeper teams that could make it deep into the tournament include Michigan because of their consistently dynamic offense, Ohio State on the backs of star freshman Keita Bates-Diop. and Auburn who only has one loss but big wins against Tennessee, Arkansas, Murray State and Middle Tennessee State.
