Le’Veon Bell Talks Contract Details

Le’Veon Bell has come out and talked about his contract moving forward after this season. He is currently under a franchise tag with the Steelers for $12.1 million and could potentially be under another tag next year for over $14 million. That is one option that doesn’t sound appealing to him though.

Bell came out and said that he would potentially sit out or retire if he was to be put under the franchise tag again and wasn’t given a long-term contract. He’s a star in the backfield that is just 25 years old so losing him would be a huge blow to the Steelers. He has generated 240+ carries four times in his five-year career to go along with 75 receptions or more in three of those seasons.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are battling it out this weekend for a chance at the AFC Championship and potentially the NFL championship. They play the Jaguars Sunday.
