Thanksgiving Day is the best and not just because of the food. While we all splurge on great food on this day, there’s also some football splurging going on. Yesterday’s games weren’t the best, but still entertaining.
The Vikings came out hot against the Lions and would take a 10-point lead into halftime before eventually winning by seven. Kyle Rudolph caught two touchdown passes and Case Keenum would throw for 282 yards and two touchdowns.
The Chargers kicker got hurt early, but it still didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. They won big against the Cowboys, 28-6 led by Keenan Allen and his 172 yards receiving and one touchdown. Philip Rivers threw for 434 passing yards on this holiday!
The nightcap featured two NFC East foes, the Giants and Redskins. The Skins would win 20-10 but it was a sloppy one. In total, only 493 yards were generated between both teams led by Jamison Crowder’s 141 receiving yards.
