Movies Opening This Weekend – November 17th, [videos]

As the worries of the holiday season draw near, wouldn’t it be nice to leave all your cares behind and take in a wonderful movie this weekend? Hollywood has released a bevy of terrific films this weekend that is sure to entertain everyone in your family. Ben Affleck reprises his superpowers in ‘Justice League’ a film that takes Superman to the next level, fighting evil and saving earth from its demise. In ‘The Star’ all the town’s animals join forces to save Christmas, while Julia Roberts returns to the big screen to care for the needs of her young son, facially scarred and entering a new school.

Our pick of the week is the film ‘Mr. Roosevelt’ the story of a young ‘interesting’ woman, who by chance, reunites with her ex-boyfriend due to the illness of a loved one. She ends up housing with her ex-boyfriend and his live-in girlfriend. Sparks fly throughout the film, in what can only be described as circumstances lead to consequences. This film is witty, brave, and humorous in a dark way.
