Week six was a wild one and part of that was because of the injuries that occurred on Sunday. Nobody was safe as we saw some of the biggest names in the NFL go down with serious injuries. These injuries will surely play a large impact on who will be making the playoffs come the end of the season.
The biggest injury of the weekend happened to Aaron Rodgers. The star quarterback broke his collarbone in the first quarter and is likely out for the rest of the season. Even if he can return by week 15 or 16, the Packers may be out of the playoff race with the way the Vikings are playing.
Jameis Winston also had an upper-body injury, hurting his shoulder in the first half of the Bucs and Cardinals game. It remains to be seen if this is a week to week type injury or if he’ll be out for a significant amount of time.
The Broncos lost Emmanuel Sanders to an ankle injury on Sunday night. It looked pretty ugly and while we are no doctors, we see him being out at least a few weeks based on how it looked.
Leonard Fournette also injured his ankle on Sunday but should be good to go moving forward. Rumor has it that he was cleared to return but they played it safe with him and kept him out.
