Rap and R&B Artists Slide on Artist 100

This week’s Artist 100 chart from Billboard has been released and unfortunately, we see our favorites sliding down the chart. Last week we spoke of the domination by the rap and R&B genres, but this was not the week for those artists. We see our favorites slide with the inclusion of multiple new artists over the last week from the pop and country artists brand new to the top 10.

So, who are the top artists this week from the rap and R&B genres? We see Lil Uzi Vert remain at the top, but this time from the sixth position. Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar remain in the top 10, but just barely as they sit at the number 9 and 10 positions. Khalid and Cardi B also dropped this week, moving to spots number 16 and 17 on the chart.

Other rap and R&B artists inside the top 50 include Logic (21), DJ Khaled (22), Rihanna (23), Kodak Black (25), The Weeknd (34), Drake (39), Migos (40), Travis Scott (41), Gucci Mane (47) and French Montana (49).
