This year’s American Music Awards up until just the other day did not have a date in which he would take place. This has changed though as it was recently announced it would take place November 19, a Sunday. Of course it’ll be broadcast live on ABC with a host that has yet to be determined.
The award show looks at things like social media, streaming, radio play, sales and touring numbers to determine the very best in music. From these numbers they determine the nominees with award titles like Video of the Year, Tour of the Year and Artist of the Year among many others.
Last year Ariana Grande took home the Artist of the Year Award with Drake, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Justin Bieber, Zayn Malik, Twenty One Pilots and Chris Brown among the many others who took home hardware that night.
