Taylor Swift has had a pretty quiet year, really only releasing one song to the world and it was a collaboration with Zayn Malik. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if she wasn’t up for any awards at the MTV Music Video Award show come August 27. This isn’t the case though as that collaboration titled “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” is nominated for the Best Collaboration award at this one.
The competition for it is steeps as it’ll be going up against collaborations from Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez, The Chainsmokers and Halsey, D.R.A.M and Lil Yachty, DJ Khaled and Rihanna and Bryson Tiller as well as the Calvin Harris song “Feels” which features Pharrell Williams, Big Sean and Katy Perry.
We think she has a great shot at this one as there were many weeks where their big hit was sitting at the top of charts. It’ll be a tough one to win though!
