The Red Hot Chili Peppers Keep on Rocking

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been around since the early 80s, and are touring with a heavy schedule as we speak in Spain, Switzerland, Italy and France in the next 7 days. The band has proven to be stronger than dirt, hanging around long enough to acquire the wealth and fame they so richly deserve. Did you know that lead singer Anthony Kiedis’s net worth is over $120 million?

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are an interesting band having broken into the music scene in the early 80s from Los Angeles California. They’re kind of a funk rock rap group that has stood behind its lead singer Anthony Kiedis, along with Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer.

Like most rock and roll bands the kids met in Los Angeles at their high school, Fairfax High, and the early band name was Tony Flow and the Majestic Masters of Mayhem. The band lowest moment came with the death of original guitarist and founding member Hillel Slovak who died of a heroin overdose in 1988.
