Billy Joel, David Weigel and Others Who Have Books Out

Billy Joel is not your average Joe, having accomplished so much in his short life. Outside of his incredible musical feats, Billy has been married to a few of the most beautiful women in the world and has much to share. Billy Joel’s ‘Billy Joel: America’s Piano Man’ is out in paperback, written by Joshua Duchan, and incudes rare insight into the Piano Man.

Speaking of books to read this year, be sure to buy ‘The Show that Never Ends; The Rise and Fall of Progressive Rock,’ written by rock literary legend David Weigel. The book traces the early days of rock, from progressive bands like King Crimson and Soft Machine, to more commercial bands like Bad Company and Foreigner.

There’s a new book entitled ‘Rolling Stones on Air in the Sixties; TV and Radio History As It Happened,’ written by Richard Havers will hit the shelves the 3rd week of September.

Finally, another book worth buying is ‘Running With the Devil’ the definitive story of Van Halen as told by manager Noel Monk. The road was neither clearly defined, nor easy for the boys in the band, so if you’re a Van Halen fan, or simply curious to be behind the scenes in rock, this book is for you.
