Creedence Clearwater Revisited On the Road This Summer

In the late 60s, John and brother Tom started a band called Creedence Clearwater Revival, hitting the charts with iconic tunes like “Bad Moon Rising,” “Have You Ever See the Rain,” “Suzie Q,” “Fortunate Son” and of course “Proud Mary.” CCR was always in turmoil, brothers fighting daily, legal issues, and differences of opinions on direction, often plaguing the band.

CCR was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, the original members of the band have yet to fully assemble for a reunion, yet Creedence Clearwater Revisited is out on tour. The band consists of one time members Doug Clifford and Stu Cook; neither Fogerty is on the bill.

Regardless, the music is wonderful and still relevant. See Creedence Clearwater Revisited if you can, it’s a magical moment in time…
