This past NBA season was a great one and we saw something that hadn’t been done in 55 years, a player average a triple-double throughout the course of a season. It should come as no surprise that that player was the one that was named MVP> Russell Westbrook was certainly deserving of it with his 31.6 points, 10.6 rebounds and 10.4 assists per game during the 2016-2017 season.
Westbrook’s Thunder didn’t fare so well in the playoffs, losing out to the Rockets led by James Harden, the second place MVP finisher. Coming in third place in the voting was Kawhi Leonard of the San Antonio Spurs. Check out some of the other big award given out Monday night…
