Journey’s Long Road to Success and Their June Tour Dates

Journey formed in the Bay area in the late 60s, enjoying success with various versions of lineups – the original Journey was put together by the Santana manager as a ‘backup band’ with no intentions of giving the boys the main stage.

Here’s an example of the tremendous turnover in the band’s lineup; just in the original lead singer, they started with was Gregg Rolie, then Robert Fleischman, then Steve Perry in 1977, then Steve Augeri, then Filipino lounge singer Arnel Pineda. Along the way they were admitted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and sold over 200 million records! Check them out on the road this summer (with special guest Asia).
