Chris Cornell recently passed and you can really tell his importance in the rock scene by the amount of people still talking about him and paying tribute to him. Just the other day Metallica paid tribute to the Soundgarden frontman and on Sunday night we saw Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons do the same.
It was during the Billboard Music Awards that Reynolds took the stage and paid tribute to Cornell. It was just after the performance by his band and it was quite touching. He asked for a moment of silence from those in attendance and at home. Emotions were running wild for this lost star.
Chris Cornell can’t be brought back, but we can make sure we don’t forget the legacy he left behind and Dan Reynolds is certainly doing that.
