Many times teams don’t like to sit a bunch of days before their next playoff game, but that’s certainly not the case for the Cavaliers. The Cavs came out in game one after many days off to beat the Celtics in big-time fashion. When it was all said and done, the final score was Cavs 117 Celtics 104.
The big time performers from the game on Wednesday night were Kevin Love and LeBron James. Love secured himself a double double (32 points and 12 rebounds) while LeBron scored 38 points to go along with 9 rebounds and 7 assists.
Unfortunately for television viewers, the game was never really close with the Cavs going up 11 in the first quarter and 22 by halftime. The Celtics only lost by 13, but there was never really any doubt who was going to win this game because of the great start by the Cavs. The Celtics were led by Isaiah Thomas (17 points and 10 assists) and Jae Crowder (21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists).
Game two of this series comes Friday night.
