You might think that you would have to travel thousands of miles across the pond to see your favorite music this summer. Hey, the kids have all kinds of festivals, but it’s hard to find an outdoor experience for our kind of music, with the original artists.
Search no more, as we’re working our way to the ‘Abbey Road on the River’ held each year in Jeffersonville Indiana, (directly across the river from Louisville) May 25th through 29th. You can camp outdoor or stay at the nearby Clarion or Sheraton Hotels.
Checkout this lineup – Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, The Family Stone, Peter Asher (Peter and Gordon) Ambrosia, Mark Lindsay and The Grass Roots. You must love the Beatles however, as the festival’s undercurrent is a wide array of Beatles’ tribute bands and performers, such as ‘All You Need is Love,’ ‘Britbeat,’ ‘Forever Abby Road,’ ‘Meet the Beetles’ and more.
