Walker Minnesota is not a city we suggest you visit in February. It is a wonderful place to spend some time in mid-July. The temperatures will be nice, and the Moondance Jam in Walker, MN will kick off July 20th through the 22nd. This will be the 26th time Walker has hosted this festival, so they must be doing something right.
Scheduled to appear at the 26th Moondance Jam will be Peter Frampton, Melissa Etheridge, Halestorm, the Steve Miller Band, the Pretty Reckless, Nice Neil of Motley Crue and more. This outdoor festival is more rustic than most, so camping is the way to go. Three-day general admission starts at $180, and that price like all the other ticket packages goes up considerably at the gate, so if you’re thinking of attending, don’t wait to buy your tickets.
Walker is upstate Minnesota, about two and a half hours from Fargo to the west, and two and a half hours to Duluth if you head east.
