Naomi Watts, Susan Sarandon, Vin Diesel, and Richard Gere will brighten your dreary days with comedy, suspense, and good times with the movies that open this weekend. Vin Diesel stars in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,’ the franchise fantasy, while Richard Gere takes on the patriarch role in a wonderful thriller called ‘The Dinner,’ based on a novel by Herman Koch. There’s also a documentary that details the life of a basketball star who realizes that after his career is over, he’s become a regular person not knowing how to deal with everyday issues.
‘The Lovers’ is a comedy that will provide a romantic spark in your own love live, as a couple who have lost their interest in their marriage, only to find a new circumstance that becomes an impulsive reason to renew their romance.
