Dale Earnhardt Jr. to Retire After 2017 Season

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been a fixture in NASCAR for almost 20 years now, but it has recently come out that he won’t be making it to 20 when it’s all said and done. In fact, he has decided that the 2017 season will be his last.

Dale Jr. has been racing with the best since 2000 and has 26 victories during his time as a driver. Of course we all first knew him as the son of Dale Earnhardt Sr., the amazingly talented driver in his day, but Junior really made a name for himself during his time.

The very last race for Dale Jr. will take place at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 19. If he stays healthy this season we could see him as many as 28 times before it’s all said and done.

Congratulations on an amazing career and we hope to see you win a few more races before you officially hang ‘em up!
