WBC Title Won By United States!

The World Baseball Classic has been going on for a few weeks now and we now have a winner! The United States took down Puerto Rico 8-0 Wednesday to take the crown.

The two played at Dodger Stadium to decide the winner and it really wasn’t as excited as previous games in the classic. Ian Kinsler hit a two-run home run early on and USA never looked back.

Marcus Stroman was quite impressive in this one, as the Blue Jays’ pitcher no-hit Puerto Rico for six innings before giving the game to the bullpen. Other standouts in this one include Andrew McCutchen (two hits and two RBI), Christian Yelich (two hits and one RBI) and Giancarlo Stanton (two hits and one RBI).

Congratulations to Team USA for winning the World Baseball Classic!
