Talking NFL Combine’s Best Performers

The NFL combine took place this weekend and there were some amazing performances by many of the players in attendance. Drills and exercises on the practice field don’t make a player’s value, but it definitely plays a part. Here are some of the best performers from the NFL combine.

We already knew that John Ross from Washington was a fast receiver, but we didn’t realize he was this fast. At the combine he ran a 4.22 forty! Not only is this the best at this year’s combine, but it was the best ever at the combine. He would have won himself an island if he was wearing Adidas cleats, but instead he wasn’t eligible due to him wearing Nikes.

OJ Howard, the tight end from Alabama, is known to be a skilled blocker with great hands. Well, now we know he is a burner too. At 6’6, 251, him running a 4.51 forty time is ridiculous! If he wasn’t a top 15 pick before the combine then he is now.

Myles Garrett locked up the number one pick in our eyes this weekend. He ran a 4.61 forty with a 41 inch vertical leap. That vertical leap is the best jump for his position in over 10 years.
