Big Moves From the Vikings, Steelers and Redskins Announced

This week is a huge week for the NFL with free agency nearing and the scouting combine happening so soon. Preparation is key for these teams! Some of them are already making big moves. Allow us to explain…

The Minnesota Vikings have decided to move on from Adrian Peterson. The running back missed most of last season due to injury and was largely ineffective when he was on the field. This now free agent ran for just 72 yards on 37 carries in 2016.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have locked up their key skill players this week. They put the franchise tag on Le’Veon Bell, an easy decision, and then extended Antonio Brown four more years for $68 million. Steelers’ fans must be happy!

The Redskins locked up their star player as well. They put the franchise tag on Kirk Cousins for the second year in a row. If he gets the franchise tag again in 2018 he’ll be set to make almost $35 million!
