The 2016-2017 season is in the books and it ended with one of the greatest NFL Championship games ever. The Patriots came back from being down 21-0 and 28-3 to win 34-28 in overtime Sunday night.
Tom Brady won the MVP of the game award after throwing it 62 times for 466 yards and two touchdowns. He even added a big 15-yard run at one point. An unexpected hero of the game was James White. He scored three times, twice on the ground and once through the air.
The Falcons were great offensively, but got too aggressive at the end of the game leaving too much time on the clock after a few miscues. Matt Ryan threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns on 17-23 passing.
Congratulations to the New England Patriots, your NFL champions!
