Hidden Figures Wins MLK Holiday Weekend

For the second week in a row, Hidden Figures wins the battle at the box office. In its second week out, it generated over $25 million in revenue. This number is quite low for the holiday weekend, making 2017 the second time in 10 years that a single movie hasn’t reached $30 million at the box office.

Taraji P. Henson stars in Hidden Figures, the movie based on a true story about three black females who work for NASA. It’s truly a great movie and well worth checking out.

Other movies who that were out this week included La La Land ($17.5 million), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ($17.1 million) and The Bye Bye Man ($15.3 million).
