Hollywood pulls no punches in bringing in the new year this weekend, as it biggest stars Jessica Biel, Mary Steenburgen, Robert De Niro, Danny DeVito, Ben Affleck and Jamie Foxx all come to your neighborhood movie theater.
What does life hold for a washed up comedian who stumbles back into the bright spotlight while trying to get the attention of a much younger woman? ‘The Comedian’ features Robert De Niro in an unusual role. Jamie Foxx revises a modern day ‘Shaft’ in sleepless, as a cop with ties to the mob does whatever he can to recover his kidnapped son.
Jessica Biel, Mary Steenburgen, Maisie Williams and Jason Sudeikis brings drama to your dreary night in ‘The Book of Love,’ a film that captures the imagination of ever dreamer. Finally, Ben Affleck directs and stars in ‘Live By Night’ another cops and robbers thriller set during the Prohibition Era.
