Every now and then we look back at Taylor Swift’s amazing country career. Usually it is to celebrate an album or single of hers that did amazing things and was loved by her fans. Well, four years ago this past weekend Taylor Swift released the album “Red” and it would end up generating the most sales in a debut week in country history!
With great sales like that, it’s no surprise the album did amazing on the charts. It would reach number one on 10 charts, encompassing many different countries around the globe. It would be Swift’s first number one hit in the UK!
Although the album would be nominated for Country Album of the Year, it wouldn’t take home the hardware, losing out to Kacey Musgraves in 2014. It would also be nominated for Album of the Year.
Singles off of “Red” include “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “22,” “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “Red.”
