Movies Opening This Weekend – October 28th, 2016 [videos]

It’s a small offering of films this weekend, but if your baseball team is not in the World Series, or your football team has a losing record and you don’t care then this weekend will tempt you with wonderful films. If you’re a music fan, this weekend will be a treat.

The British band Oasis and the punk band, The Stooges, appear in documentaries that will pull back the curtains on music. Ron Howard, Hollywood’s pre-eminent director, and Tom Hanks, Hollywood’s royalty, team up this weekend to extend the Da Vinci Code brand this time Robert Langdon wakes up with amnesia, but must work to stop a sinister global crisis. ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is the romantic foreign film of the year, and will actually raise your IQ after you watch it.
