The Coaching Hot Seat

We’re at the point in the season where people are talking non-stop about who should be fired and who would be a great addition to a bigger and better team. Well, the hot seat is hotter than ever for a few coaches. Let’s talk about who we could see fired soon or by season’s end..

It all starts with Brian Kelly from Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish are just 2-5 with wins to lowly Nevada and Syracuse. Recently their tough losses to Stanford and NC State have really put him on the hot seat with Notre Dame faithful. It also doesn’t help that he doesn’t lose all that gracefully, many times throwing his players under the bus.

One team Notre Dame has lost to is Texas. What we once thought was a great win for the Longhorns has turned like an average one. And unfortunately for Texas fans, it is only one of three wins. They’re lacking in the big win department, only beating UTEP and Iowa State besides Notre Dame. Charlie Strong could be out by season’s end.

Could Tommy Tuberville be out at Cincinnati? His Bearcats are only 3-3 with an 0-3 conference record. His seat isn’t as hot as the two previously mentioned, but it’s certainly heating up.
