Drake Sets Records with AMA Nominations

The nominations for the American Music Awards were announced earlier this week and it went along as much as you would expect. Joe Jonas and Rachel Platten helped with the announcing of the nominations on “Good Morning America,” making it an event in itself. Both Jonas and Platten saw themselves receive nominations while reading it out loud, which was cool in itself.

One artist whose name we heard a lot was Drake. He actually set a record with 13 nominations, the record being the most nominations in one year. Previously, Michael Jackson held the record with 11. The next most nominations this year comes from Rihanna and her seven. So, which awards is Drake up for? Let’s take a look…
