The Beatles “Yesterday” has been covered by Loren Green, Frank Sinatra, Boys II Men and over 30 more popular entertainers.
“Imagine” by the late John Lennon has been covered by Elton John, Ray Charles, Sergio Mendez, Queen, Dolly Parton and Avril Lavigne to name a few.
“I Can’t Get No (Satisfaction)” by the Rolling Stones has been covered by Joan Baez, Vanilla Ice, Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix and more.
The Beatles had have the most of their discography ‘covered’ by other musicians, while the most interesting covers have been “Rocket Man” by actor William Shatner, The Blues Brothers (Dan Akroyd and James Belushi) with their cover of “Soul Man” and finally the Grass Roots classic “Midnight Confessions” sung by the one and only ‘Happy Days’ actor Scott Baio.
