This week in music history is a pretty popular one and we see that with the anniversaries of many different events. On Monday, September 12 alone there are multiple anniversaries worth blabbering about. Let’s take a look at what I mean…
It was five years ago that Beyonce released the song “Love On Top.” It would go on to win the Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance at the 55th Grammy Awards.
Speaking of award shows, Lady Gaga went off at the 2010 VMAs on September 12 six years ago. She didn’t win every nomination of hers, but did take home eight moonmen! What an accomplishment that is!
Eight years ago Taylor Swift released one of her greatest songs when she dropped “Love Story” on us. It is the best selling country single in history!
