With Labor Day in the rear view window, we can say good-bye to summer. We had fun while it lasted, hitting the pool and listening to great songs that have us smiling and happy we have the sun beating down on us. We don’t mind the hot heat when we have great music to take us away from it. Billboard has done us all a favor and ranked the best songs from the summer, officially creating a “Songs of the Summer” chart. Curious how the top 10 ended up? Let’s take a look…
The number one hit was Drake’s “One Dance” and it doesn’t surprise us one bit. It was a huge hit for him and was one of many for him this summer. We’re pretty sure that nobody can complain about that one at the top!
Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” came on a little later than “One Dance,” but did so much damage on the charts. It ended up at number two. “Don’t Let Me down” from The Chainsmokers rounds out the top three.
4. Sia – Cheap Thrills
5. Calvin Harris f/ Rihanna – This Is What You Came For”
6. Desiigner – Panda
7. Rihanna – Needed Me
8. Twenty One Pilots – Ride
9. Fifth Harmony – Work From Home
10. Adele – Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
