Tiger Woods Eyes October Return

Tiger Woods hasn’t been the same for many years now, but he’s not ready to call it quits. In fact, he’s been rehabbing and is looking to return to golf this October. He’s looking specifically at the Safeway Open from October 13 to 16 as his return date. This tournament will be played in Napa, California.

He’s also looking at two other golfing events this year in hopes of getting himself back on track to compete in 2017 majors. He’s looking at the Turkish Airlines Open in November and the Tiger Woods Foundation-run Hero World Challenge in December as other tournaments he wants to play as well.

In the past, Tiger has come back from injury too fast and has hurt himself even more. This time he feels he has taken extra time to be ready to compete in these tournaments. The sporting world loves a good comeback story and that’s just what Tigers is these days. Will he compete again for a major or even just a tournament victory in the coming months? We’ll soon find out.
