Melissa Etheridge has been a rocking woman since the decades, building on her smash hit “Come to My Window.” You might not know this, but Melissa has been a big fan of the Stax Records era for many tears. This label produced and released great song from the 69s and 70s, supporting artists like Sam and Dave, Otis Redding, The Bar Kays (the Stax house band) Isaac Hayes, later Elvis tunes, and more. Melissa has survived the scrutiny of ‘coming out,’ cancer, failed relationships, and the hardships of touring.
