Lenny Dykstra has released his tell all book, “Lenny Dykstra, A Memoir of Life on the Edge” and it sounds like it’s going to be one worth checking out. As many already know, Dykstra could never keep his mouth shut and it’s evident with this book.
He was a great player for the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets, gaining a name for himself in the 80s and 90s. Over time things changed though and he lost millions and millions of dollars before heading to jail.
What makes Dykstra so interesting though is that he wrote about it all in his new book. He wrote about former teammates and managers as well as his steroid usage when he played. He wrote about partying with Charlie Sheen and Mickey Rourke and what it was like being in jail. Dykstra writes about it all in this book and to us, that sounds like one heck of a way to convince baseball fans to read it. Quite honestly after hearing about it all, we think it’s more than worth a purchase.
