Singers love to be in the movies, and who could forget the first time we saw our favorite band or singer in a film? Here are more examples of great movies that allowed a cameo of one of our favorite singers…
Barbra Streisand was incredible in the 60s with her performance in ‘Funny Girl,’ while Neil Diamond gave an Oscar performance in ‘The Jazz Singer.’ It’s not often a singer has been given an entire script to star in, but these two legends pulled it off.
Jennifer Lopez was awesome in the spousal abuse thriller ‘Enough.’ from 2002. In the George Clooney classic ‘Out of Sight’ Jennifer again proved she could not only sing, but act her way into our hearts. ‘Maid in Manhattan’ was terrific as well.
Let’s give a special shout out to Harry Connick Jr. who appeared in over 20 movies, ‘Memphis Belle,’ ‘Bew In Town,’ and ‘Copy Cat,’ our favorites.
