On Sept. 10, the college football attendance record will be broken as the Tennessee Volunteers will be facing off against the Virginia Tech Hokies at Bristol Motor Speedway. This game will likely feature around 150,000 fans in attendance, so of course the game needs to have some music fun added to the mix.
Kenny Chesney has been chosen as the headliner for a three-act concert that will be going on Sept. 9, the night before the game. In a way, Kenny grew up in eastern part of the state, with his college education happening at East Tennessee State.
The two opening acts for the event include Old Dominion and The Band Perry. Seating for the concert will be open to 45,000 people and many expect that to be an easy sellout number for this special weekend.
