If you’re a fan of Pink Floyd, this news will make you smile. The bands entire catalog will be available on vinyl this June, with scheduled release dates through the rest of the year. To make it ever more memorable, the labels involved have promised to re-release the LPs in their original packaging, notes, and marking. How retro!
Pink Floyd has not been a pretty picture of late. Roger Waters has recently been in the news with his controversial political views on Palestine vs. Israel, and there have been legal battles over song credits and investments. Did you know that their classic ‘Dark Side of the Moon” was their ninth album release? “Dark Side” has sold over 50 million copies, while in comparison “The Wall” has sold 30 million units. “Wish You Were Here” the album after “Dark Side” originally sold 13 million copies.
