Toni Tennille (“Love Will Keep Us Together,” 70s Captain and Tennille duo) has released her memoir “Toni Tennille: A Memoir” with some real Hollywood buzz. Toni is now 75, with some juicy stories to tell including singing backup for early rock groups, her struggle with her ex-husband’s addictions, and hosting her own TV show. The memoir was written with her niece Caroline.
Morley Safer is leaving the news TV show ’60 Minutes,’ and the producers paid homage to Morley in last Sunday’s program. Morley has been with the legendary news show for 46 of its 48 years on air.
The big box office wins this past weekend were ‘Captain America: Civil War’ with $72.5 million in returns, followed by ‘The jungle Book,’ ‘Money Monster,’ ‘The Darkness,’ ‘Mother’s Day,’ and ‘Zootopia.’
