A Demi Lovato Anniversary

This week three years ago, Demi Lovato released her fourth album, “Demi,” and it really shot her into prominence on the music stage. The album had four singles, all of which were big hits for her. Her biggest of hits off of the album might have been “Heart Attack,” but you can’t forget about “Made in the USA,” “Neon Lights,” and “Really Don’t Care.”

“Heart Attack” was Demi’s third top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was a big reason why the album would reach the top five in Ireland, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and Canada. It would reach number one in Brazil and Canada.

This was her first album since 2011 when she released “Unbroken” and would be the album that came before her best one yet, “Confident.”

When the album sold 110,000 copies in its first week, it became the highest charted debut for an album of hers on the US Billboard 200.
