Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is planning a three-day open air concert in October of this year, featuring Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young and Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters.
In the spirit of ‘Woodstock,’ the scheduled performers seem to have an activist tone or history to their years of rock, while Coachella has worked hard to get two of the biggest stars of the 60s on stage for one night; Dylan and McCartney. The festival last year grossed nearly $85 million, doing a great job of weaving in alternative rock artists with the superstars from decades earlier.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is schedule for Oct. 7-9 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.
