This week’s Mediabase chart for Alternative music is out and once again Twenty One Pilots is on top. Their song, “Ride,” has spent multiple weeks on the charts as the number one hit and quite honestly it’s getting old! What isn’t getting old is actually hearing the song and enjoying it.
The Strumbellas and Empire of the Sun round out the top three with their hits “Spirits” and “Walking On a Dream.” These two remain in the same spot (two and three) as they did last week with only The Strumbellas gaining spins.
There are no new artists to the top 10, but the X Ambassadors could be slipping out of here shortly. They were at the fifth position last week and dropped all the way to 10.
