Elton John has always been known to be a giving man. He’s been a big advocate of fighting and curing Aids, so it’s no surprise to see that he’s the most giving celebrities of all UK celebrities. This is according to The Sunday Times Giving List.
In 2015, John gave away $38 million mainly to his fight against Aids. There were plenty of other big names on the list of 10 that was recently released. The famous author, JK Rowling, is second on the list with over $14 million donated over the past year. Queen’s members, Brian May and Roger Taylor, both donated $2.4 million each, meaning they’ve cracked the list as tied for tenth.
Other names on the list include One Direction, Ringo Starr, and Coldplay as big time charitable donators.
