Celine’s Newly Announced Performance and Other Music Headlines

Here are your Monday morning music headlines…

Motown icon Diana Ross was involved in an automobile accident last week when an SUV ran a stop sign, ramming her limo in Bethlehem, PA. The 72-year-old complained of head and neck pain but was not seriously injured. Diana fulfilled her obligations and performed that night in concert. The driver of the SUV, a young woman in her early 20s, was given a citation. It is not known if the woman driving the SUV asked for an autograph.

Despite hot rumors, Liam Hemsworth denied his engagement to Miley Cyrus. When asked by an Australian tabloid, Liam simply said ‘no.’ You may remember the two were engaged in 2012, but never made it to the altar.

Celine Dion has had a tough 2016, losing her manager and husband Rene and brother Daniel to cancer. Recently it was announced that she would perform a benefit concert in Trios-Rivieres August 30th. Her foundation has designated a series of event or benefits as part of her “Céline pour les infants” concert series. The foundation is designed to benefit underprivileged and sick children around the world.
