We just can’t get enough of the Billboard Music Nominations that were announced earlier this week. Who got snubbed? Who will take home hardware on May 22 in Las Vegas? Do we hear of anything crazy that happens after the show is over? There is plenty of time between now and then, but we do want to take a look at the awards that Twenty One Pilots has accumulated…
First off, they’re up for Top Duo/Group, Top Rock Artist, Top Rock Album, and Top Rock Song. Clearly, they’ve hit mainstream enough to be on top of many different charts for the different genres, but they didn’t receive many nominations for them.
With the song “Stressed Out” being such a huge hit, we would be surprised if we didn’t see them take home at least one award. Combine that song with “Ride” and you have a rock album with two huge number one hits. We suspect that a great night is in store for Twenty One Pilots and their fans come May 22.
